Flinders Medical Centre
Redesigning Care

Graham Eagles worked with the Redesigning Care team at FMC in 2004/5.
Most of his time he spent mentoring the Redesigning Care team, working
with our Sterilising Unit and Pharmacy Department, and also gave
training to other hospital staff in lean thinking principles and tools.
In the very early stages of the Redesigning Care team's formation, we
were fortunate enough to attend Graham's topic on "Lean Manufacturing
Systems" at Uni SA. In this course we learned a great deal about lean
thinking and lean management, including a thorough background in the
origins of lean and participated in many practical sessions as part of
the course. We benefited from Graham's extensive experience in applying
these principles in the field and the many practical tips and
suggestions he was able to give us.
Graham has been an important contributor to the lean knowledge and
applied practices of our team.

A Class Metal Finishers Pty Ltd

Graham has been a great resource and mentor for myself and others in the
manufacturing sector in SA especially in relation to Lean principles. He is
not only well read on Lean, TPS, Value Stream mapping, 5S and many other Lean
related topics, but can bring these subjects to life through many actual
case examples drawn from his own experiences and successes in improving
productivity and performance within several leading manufacturing companies.
His enthusiasm for and presentation of lean topics make a huge impression,
that outlast many other training programs, thus making Lean principles a
useful tool for driving several improvements in my company. Productivity
Australia is also a resource I have used for years and will continue to
utilise as they provide access to the latest and most relevant materials to
support companies and individuals with their projects and studies in Lean or
improving business productivity in general. I am very thankful for Graham's
passion and commitment to provide others with innovative "productivity"
outcomes.

Inghams Pty Ltd - South Australia

We have committed our people in particular our Senior and Middle Management
to learn the tools and skills associated with Lean Manufacturing.

As a business we need to remain an Industry Leader and continue to supply a
value for money product and service. Lean thinking employees gives us a very
effective common view and strategy to achieving this objective. Graham has
conducted this training for us because of his practical approach and
knowledge to the application of the Lean T6ools. We have found with previous
training experiences, that, in most cases the theory is quickly forgotten as
people cannot make the connection between that theory and the practical
application of it. We have found Grahams' guidance and teaching has provided
the hands on, applied skills and training outcome of particular good value
to our business in our rapid successful development and growth.

Please Note- Lean has a particular appeal because, with the right training
organisation and sensei, it can be taught to all people not just the
smartest , It can have an immediate positive impact on your business and
give you a common way of thinking that gives common direction.

Unlike some training, if introduced correctly, it has an easy practical
application in the workforce and as such does not get left in the training
room. It has true value as such.

Taylors Wines Pty Ltd

In my many years in Human resources, I have attended quite a number of
seminar and training-some excellent, some good, some .. you know the rest.
In my dealings with Graham, in attending his Lean Thinking, Management
Overview training, I would have to say it was not only interesting but a
very good learning experience. I definitely wasn't bored! Who would be, you
cannot believe, using Graham's examples and simulations how many steps in a process go into making a cup of tea and which of these processes you can do simultaneously or eliminate, combine, reduce and simplify to maximise
time and effort etc .etc-imagine what you can do in the many processes you do daily at work or even at home! Fun learning in a totally professional environment. Don't take my word for it. Sign up for one of Graham's seminars!
